The baroque trim, added in the 16th century, was removed to restore the interior to its medieval simplicity. |

arches to the left and to the right of the sanctuary were reopened. |
This is a view of the sanctuary before the restoration. Note that there are no windows on the inside of the sanctuary. The windows were filled in when baroque trim was added in the 16th century. |
